Violence won't solve anything. The people above are high.
You also have to not give two shits about the punishment whether it be detention, community service, etc.. And who the hell cares if they call you a snitch? No need to try and impress them. But you say the teachers don't help so that is out of the picture.
You have to hit the bully where it hurts most. I'm not talking about punching him in the balls or hurting him, I'm saying his reputation. You say:

That means these kids/fags care about what others think. Find a camera and record him doing something embarrassing. Is there a time where you see him alone at school acting like a bitch? The next day when he's at school or something and nobody's home then just get the camera and watch the footage. If you see him masturbate or some other shit then show it to everyone in the school.
Remember, if you are afraid of your mom yelling at you for getting in trouble just sit her down, show her some footage of him bullying you, and tell her the teachers do nothing about it.
If you're afraid of the school suspending/expelling you then let it be. It's obviously a corrupt school. Do you support Anonymous? If so, Anonymous is all about standing up for whats right and not giving ten shits about the consequence(s).
The last thing you could do which is more practical is to speak to the bullies parents about it. Do it in a civil, nice, mannerly way. Then let the pissed mother (or dad) do the rest.
I'm finding it hard to believe the school does nothing for when he does something bad, and you do when you do something bad. If that's actually the case though sorry.

If you want to know my thoughts it's to learn how to fight and DEFINITELY learn how to talk shit. Nobody wants to talk smack to someone who can make them look like a retard. Only use your "fighting" skills for self defense. Honestly, violence gets you nowhere. Not to sound cliche but it's hella true.
