Should I bot firemaking?

Okay, I don't normally bot, I'd hate to get banned in this game, but I'm trying to go for 99 fm using maples, and it's already hella boring. I'm also going to develop carpal tunnel, lol.

Should I just bot it? Is there a high ban rate? I mean, if I'm there most of the time, and just use the bot to help me out a bit, it should be okay, right?

What would you guys recommend I do?
 
If your at your computer when you bot and just check facebook or stuff you won't get banned at all because you could reply to people if they talked to you and you don't need to continuously click.

Yeah, that's what I'm planning on doing. =)
I'd be happy to use a free bot, I'm just not really sure what I could use. I heard powerbot is still unsafe, and I just bought like 100m, so I'd prefer to not get anything taken from me. =(

I just don't see how I'm supposed to set fire to 87000 logs without some help from a script, lol.

I'll be there most of the time, I'm not going to 24/7 bot and bot overnight or anything, I'll bot a couple hours, take a break and do something else, then bot again. But I'll be there when I bot for those couple of hours, and make sure it's working right, and stop every so often and do an inventory myself.
 
yeah but, it has the highest ban rate. so be careful either way.

Well really, any bot is dangerous. I just hear about most FM botters getting banned.

i just have 1 piece of advice that you can take or leave, if it's your main/best account, don't bot.
 
It's all common sense, talk once in a while and start a conversation. I've been running Fishing and Wcing nonstop for 18h+

Is that the same with RWT, too? I don't know anyone personally that got banned for RWTing, but I see a lot of people complaining about it online.... If no one reports you for that, are you ok, usually? Sorry to change the subject, lol.

Anyway, yeah, I'm planning on being there almost the entire time. I just want a script that I can run for like an hour if I get tired at one point. Like "Aw shit, my wrists are starting to hurt, let's let this thing run for an hour or so while I take a break and watch it".
 
I think people only get busted for transferring/selling huge amounts of RSGP.

Think about it.

Thousands of bots = Hard to catch

The smaller group of people constantly trading off 50m+ to different accounts = Easier to catch

It would be way too hard on Jagex to scan every account playing. It is only becomes apparent that you're botting if you are reported so many times and they look into it.
 

Yeah, it seems that everyone who's complaining of getting banned for RWTing transferred party hats and stuff directly to the seller, lol.

I bought 55m, then 43m. Yeah, I think I'm k. =)
 
Well, if you monitor your account and type (be sure to type slow or pause the bot) now and then, you should be fine. I think I'm 51 Firemaking (on my pure botting hunting atm) and I'm not banned yet. So yeah, go ahead. Just be careful, and some legit firemaking.
 
Bots are fine as long as you dont overuse them, 3-5 hours is a good number for me

Would anyone know a good place to get a free bot, though?

I only have like a buck left in my paypal, lol, I spent the rest of it on gold... I could get a bit more, but I'd prefer to do this without spending more money on this game.
 
I recommend you use RsBuddy.

I have been using it lately and it's great... I've actually switched over from using the Nexus client.

Just create an account on their website, download the client, run it, log into your website account and go.

To add scripts, just browse their website and find the script you want. Click on the script you want to add, the click "Add to RsBuddy"

It's pretty straight forward on what you need to do, especially if you have used a bot client before... but if you need any help, feel free to ask.
