Tonight at 12:30 EST we will be able to see mars. It will apparently appear to be the same size as the moon. This wont happen again for a long time.

Be on the look-out!

I would think it would have a tint of red yeah. I saw it back in 2003 when I was a kid but I dont really remember much lol.

Well mars has a red tint to it. Would it be big enough to see the color?

It's more of a matter of how close it is, than how big it is, but I guess it can go both ways. And yes, Mars is close enough to see its surface colors with the naked eye.
