There needs to be some rules for this forum because it could be an easy way to do malicious things. The rules are as follows:

  • You must provide a virus scan of your program from http://www.virustotal.com/ only. Scans are normally pretty quick and it provides the people downloading your program with a sense of security.
  • Provide a screenshot of the program in operation.
  • Do not try to infect people
  • No illegal programs
  • This section is for releases, if you have a question about coding please take it to the appropriate forum.
  • Program authors may distribute their program in any way they feel necessary -- even if they want you to pay for it -- do not complain about their preferred methods.

That is all for now, I will add more if anything comes up.

Good thread, Carolus. VERY good.

Mind everyone that staff still have power over this forum along with the section leader, Carolus, and posting infected files will result in a permanent limitation or ban.

Updated

Provide Screenshot
And scan with only virustotal, I know you wanted both, but people who are trying to infect will be very reluctant to scan at virustotal for obvious reasons

Meaning they don't want their crypter's stubs to be sent to antivirus companies.

I will do my best to also scan all applications with Anubis to see what each one really does.
