In a close vote lasting all of yesterday - Scotland has voted to reject independence. 55% of Scotland voted to stay part of the UK, versus 45% for independence.

This is a historic vote and one that may be repeated in the future.

Would have been stupid to split up to be honest haha.

Yay good! Would be stupid if i had to pay to get into scotland.!

Ew, I hate scotland.

I'd have been glad to see them piss off..

*sigh*

I would love to see @Nasyr post on this as he does live in Scottland

He's too busy trying to start bar brawls with No voters.

Wasn't happy about it, now living in Scotland and speaking to over 5000 people about this is the running months towards the end, the ones who said no said it was because they were scared of the change.
Scotland would have been better on our own and I am ashamed the people denied their own independence, which is why I'm actually going to stick down at college and university and as soon as I am fully qualified and have money I'll be leaving the UK.

I don't care what happened to be honest, but if they did slpit up, I'd love, my dad would suffor

I know I suck at spelling but skool izz fore newrdz

Fair enough man, if it was the other way around (I'm UK), I would have probably voted Yes. However, the bonus to being in the UK is the free university I suppose, if you're Scottish of course.

Why did they vote to be independent in the first place?
Because Alex Sammond wanted his name in the history books.

Well we would have had to pay for the first few years but then we'd go back to normal.

True, but not to mention it was to do with Scotland wanting to have more powers over our own country.
