^ Best place to scan a file before DL'ing it. Just thought I'd share.

Can only detect detectable viruses, most malware now-a-days is FUD so you need to sometimes decrypt the source, then go through it to see what's what.

I would suggest scanning it with virustotal.com and http://vscan.novirusthanks.org/

Waiting a few days then re scanning, and doing what jonathan said sandboxing and annubising etc..

Virustotal send every scan to virus companies... so if your scanning your RAT or something, don't.
