Nowadays, prices of basic commodities are soaring high, salary remains stagnant and business competition is so stiff. How are we going to make up for all this instances. Now we need to be wise in expenditure. What do you do so that despite everything you can still save money?

salaam/hello my dear bro!
simple answer of that big problem is .buy only yours basic needs.
isn't it simple

saving money is easy but you must have a desire to save it and tats all . So first save some money and buy a gold or a property , so that you cannot have cash money into your account .Else put your money in the fixed deposit for 1 year as a savings.

i save money buy buying what i want just buying the cheaper brands (they nearly all tast the same) or go to shops that sell them for a cheaper price i get every thing i need a week with £15 by doing this if i dident i would spend over my £30 a week

Buying cheaper brands help too but in my case, with 4 kids around and all of them attending school with two in college, it's still tough. The best thing I do is to help my husband generate income and then save what is left of it. Fortunately, I have a part time job that is direct selling.

Saving money would be hard if you have a spouse and children. Since they spend on various commodities which are needed on their studies or work. Well as for me, the way of saving money is to find an alternative way to save more money. Example is Commuting or Car Pooling instead Driving your own Car, Buying Cheap Brands, Preferring Localized Products than Imported Ones and Lastly Perseverance and Desire to save.

saving money is not the duty of head of the family all members should do their part..I used to purchase cheap items like seasonal fruits and cheap vegetables every week..Look at the price first then buy...

That is a nice idea. Actually I do that too. Fruits in season are a lot cheaper. I try avoiding those imported fruits, it's a lot expensive.

I think it is best to be practicAL and wise oN buying. Buy what you need not what you want.in that way you can save money.dont spend too much on something you dont use regularly.dont go for the brandED ones too.there are other unbranded products that are cheaper yet effective and useful.

yeah you are right, every thing's price has gone so high where income is remaining as it is. It is necessary to save some money for future although it is too hard to do.

we all may have heard cut cloth according to your size....this is the way to save money....in spite of increasing rate of everything..

Oh I think its a bit odd. Only the small sizes can make adjusments. What about plus sizes? They will never have their turn in cost cutting. But I get your point although it's not applicable to all.

i think saving money is easy for those who is having less expenditure it is easy for them but who are having huge family budjet they face difficulties

i always have a budget for the month.we need to spend a fixed amount on our daily needs every month.there are small tricks that can be used to save some good money.first being shopping in bulk,if you but things together and in larger quantity then its more beneficial and money saving.
the other thing that i try is having a hidden purse in my locker.i put in some money there every now and then and consider it as been used.i have been doing this from nearly an year and now i have some good amount there.now i am thinking to invest it somewhere to have more benefit you can try on these two..

its very hard to earn money :Crying: thanks to my parents, when we were young, instead of spending our money to buy toys, the money that came from our gifts from our godparents, grandparents and parents, my parents saved it on our bank. we have our own two bank account. now, if i don't have money on my pocket, if i want to buy something, instead of asking my parents to give me money, i get my money on my atm card. so its very important that we have our savings in the bank in case of the emergency or in case we need it in the future.

Saving money in an economy where price is going upward for me i only discoverd i way i could save more money which i am willing to share with you i dont know about you guys but Free is a very good price. Let me share an experience with you.
That homily, long a mainstay in the Pennywise universe, popped into mind recently when I discovered Freecycle. Over the course of a few weeks this summer, I obtained a paper shredder, a 28-inch Sanyo television, a VCR/DVD player with its original remote and manual, a like-new Indian cookbook, and a beautiful mahogany bookcase. All of them were free. All I had to do was pick them up.If you don't know Freecycle (or as it's officially known, the Freecycle Network), it is a libertarian communist paradise of mutuality and freedom. Put less philosophically, Freecycle is a Web site that allows people in various localities to unload stuff they don't want, saving landfills from additional junk, and providing items to other people at no charge.I don't know why I didn't get on Freecycle sooner. To have a mahogany bookcase is a good thing. To be able to tell people who admire it that you obtained it free puts it in quite another category of experience.

I avoid going out if I didn't even need to go. Fare is really high in our place. I just go out if I really need some supplies. I even buy basic needs only and I avoid buying stuffs that is not needed. I make sure that I budget my money so I will not buy not so important things.

Well I am still kid but then being a kid I don't really also spend that much money.Only on things that I need in my everyday life such as food and water.Mostly,I'll save up my money and probably spend it at the end of the year but then again it just feels so hard to part from my money you know. The hard earn and saved money goes to waste in a few hours.Obviously that won't be my plan.Prices are going up but definitely there's nothing we can do 'bout it.
