It's just that easy, what makes it difficult is that it's timed. There 10 sections; 1 is an essay that you have 25 minutes to write, 6 are 20 minute sections (2 for math, 2 for language usage/grammar, and 2 for comprehension), then there are two 25 minute sections (1 math, 1 comprehension), then 1 ten minute section of language usage and grammer.

Results take about 2 weeks to get to you. The national average on the SAT is 1500. I consider anything above a 2000 a good score. And One, the maximum score is 2400. 800 math, 800 reading, 800 writing. The 1600 you are looking at is an old scale.
Pro tip: Memorize as much SAT vocab as you can, it will help a lot on the reading section. Math and Writing come to me without any effort; reading is my only problem.
