I created an account yesterday. I did Rune Mysteries Quest Today and I'm botting rune essence right now. Do you guys think that is safe?
 
Essence bots tend to get banned rather quickly. Doesn't help that your only quest is for essence. Normally a new player wouldn't just do one quest and go do rune essence. That being said if your using a proxy you'll be fine. If not then if that account gets banned/rolledbacked/or in trouble for macros then they'll watch your IP. I've even heard of some people having their mains banned after constant bans on other accounts on the same IP. Good luck
 
No it's not safe. Rune essence is the main location for bot hunts, level 3's are mostly the target of reports.
 
Depending on what bot he is using he could always use an auto talker script. A note to everyone being reported doesn't necessarily mean you'll get banned. Reports just have them focus or check out a player more.
 
I had a mate in the past who when he got bored he used to chat with miners, if they didn't reply to him and he saw them again later, he'd see them later and try and get a reply, if no reply he'd warn them that he was going to report him and then he would.
People get bored when mining essence and they look for things to fill time.
 
Just change your name to something hard, or something thats decieving.
 
I wouldn't personally bot ess, it's around 20k/h give or take.

Stupidest thing a botter could do is have a name like ilIILLILIILIILILILLI

it would bring more suspicion than a name called ImAbotBanMeNow
 
i wouldn't worried getting banned, theres a bot on rsbuddy that makes the account, does tutorial, and does rune mysteries for you. Easy to get more
