Rushing Techniques

I've just decided to try rushing, but there are so many different ways.

Heres my way of rushing, I just kinda thought of it. 99 melee/mage btw.



My armor is mystic/ahrims.


So I have lunars on, I cast vengeance then switch to ancients spellbook using spellbook swap (96 mage). I get my turm/drink supers. Find a target, cast ice barrage. Once you've used barrage your spellbook goes back to lunar, meaning if they hit you can use vengeance again. Of course I've also used my 2 specs in this time.

So basically its:
Vengeance
Barrage
Spec
Vengeance
Spec
Loot.

I'm sure others use this already but that's what I do. Any other sweet rushing techniques you can think of? I was clawing before but never really hit well.

Sorry if I didn't really explain this well, I just kinda put this all together in a couple mins.

Haha just thought of this in the last hour or whatever. 1 kill so far of 500k, tbh i just barraged and 1 speced him tho .

Rushing people in the wild.

I just told what I do and now I'm looking for suggestions as well.

My lil twist is mainly in the mage, 2 venges+1barrage. Since I wear mystic they can still hit pretty high, so venge helps.
 

Yea I would not use that for pking or w.e

Thats more of a God wars setup


If I were to go pking or w.e you are gunna do in the wildy
Use magic and Claws

Teleblock then Ice barrage then Special on Claws
Idk thats what I would do
 


Have you actually ever rushed? Or pked for that matter? Just curious cause you don't seem to really fully understand what I'm saying.

And have you ever tbed then instantly barraged? I don't think it's possible without a huge time gap.
 
if you could do something like the spellbook swap for a tb, then an entangle? then spec him, veng hits, veng again?

maybe? not sure of delay on spellbook swap =\
 

I don't pk it's a wast of my time
I watched a few pking videos over my time and That's what they do

They teleblock , Ice barrage , Claw

Thats all I see

Go on youtube and search up clawing or w.e and find some videos

The problem is though that you can only use 1 spell before you change back.
 
Meh, I'm sticking to full bandos with claws and veng rushing with prot melee lol
 
From what I've seen, there's really only one way to go about it these days. The most effective self-proclaimed "Rushers" are those who use Korasi and have a friend give them spec w/ lunars. Some kid hit over 1400 on me before I could even combo eat twice (before I knew what Korasi was or that it was magic damage).

However, this is my real opinion of Rushing:
"Rushing" Was a term coined by PJers - so that they could feel like they were good at PKing. Most of them have little or no true PKing skills, and botted or cut logs to afford their rushing gear.

I'm personally an old schooler who doesn't even bring anything more than a glory into the wild as a teleport. I say GF - not GG, and 9 times out of 10 I DM people.

Yes, Imad. The lack of respect just pisses me off now. Oh well.

I suppose of "rushers"/"Pjers" can kill me, then it's my own fault.

I truly do wish you luck though.
 

Respect. I've always just pked, but I'm just so sick of all the pjing. I never pj anyone, I just look for someone who wants to fight and oblige them xD.


Someone mentioned korasi speccing with a friend to give spec. I thought I read somewhere that you couldn't give spec in non multi now. Correct me if I'm wrong? I believe now adays people use ring of vigour, which takes 10% less spec, thus allowing 2 specs.
Can someone confirm if I'm right or wrong?

Ontopic: That rushing technique seems flawless, but if you think about it, one mistake fucks up your entire rush. And that rush looks very complicated.
 


Biggest problem is that most people don't fight back rushers.
 
im so sick of getting rushed soooo sick of it i cant even play this game anymore its getting so out of hand.
