I'm planning to do a contest soon, the prize(s) being two

The thing is, I'm not sure what kind of contest I want to host!

If you could take the time to vote in the poll above, I'm sure Runegear would appreciate it!
 
Lottery.
Posting contest will just bring spam.
Nomination, friends vote for friends.
I think lottery is the most fair one.
 
Could try doing referrals or for the lottery have the members that would want to take part in it have to gain a certain amount of posts within a time limit.

Lottery seems to be the fairest out of all them at the moment.
 
I think it should be lottery and I also think that Ninja is on the right track. The lottery should have something else to it to make it more than just guessing numbers.

I think I am the master guesser around here. But you are lucky that I can't participate in contests! So I guess I am willing to pass down my master guessing skills and master guesser title to you, my best bud Deathwish.
 
I personally think a posting contest with high requirements (spam = ban) would be good. It would breath some life into this slow moving forum. But because lottery has the most votes, I hope it wins.
 
Gather us all in a circle with handguns. Last one standing wins.
 
Who cares if posting contests bring spam, it's the only time RG is fun.

Building from Ninja, lottery and yea have to say do 200 posts to be eligible to be in the draw
 
Lottery does not benefit the forum, maybe do 2 contests!
 

You don't either, I remember when everyone hated you for spamming and when you got rep fucked.
 

None of it is spam & and I've never gotten close to winning a posting contest unlike everyone else lol.
