Rule Suggestion - Leeching Tutorials

Hello,

I was reading through the rules and guidelines of RuneGear, and I noticed that plagiarism is not listed anywhere. Is it currently against the rules to copy + paste guides, with out stating a source? I have seen quite a few guides that were copy and pasted, with the user claiming it as their own writing. If this is not currently against the rules, I think a rule of this kind should be implemented. I personally don't feel plagiarism is moral, and I don't think it's right for users to take credit for the work of others.

Any comments/feedback would be appreciated. I know it's not my place to question the current set of rules we have, but I think this an innocent yet innovative suggestion.

I agree, if they are ripping a tutorial off a site, they should at least give credits to the original writer.
If you are able to find leached tutorials please pm me the credits and I will edit every thread.

Should I just report the threads, or PM them specifically to an administrator when I find them? I believe something related to this should be posted in the help docs, in my opinion. I am actually thinking about writing a tutorial on plagiarism.

I agree with this, I don't like leeching, and even if they do, they should have the decency to give credits.

Exactly. Sharing a good tutorial is one thing, while stealing one is another.
