RSPS coding progress thread

Don't get mad at me if I post this here, nobody reads the rsps forum.

So recently I found a decent 508 spawn pk source, and I intend on using it to make a decent rsps. I have motivation issues so I'll post here for motivation.

Here's what the source looks like:

Current goals:
1. Change gameframe.
2. Leech off stability fixes in tutorial section of rune-server.org
3. Fix economy
4. Add skilling/pvm rewards
5. Monetize MWAHAHA <-not sure

Awesome. I hope you stay motivated enough to complete it.

Server wont get anywhere if all you do is leech, starting a server from scratch will turn out better. However goodluck, but there's no real point in rsps anymore.

Lol 99% of servers are leeches. I'm actually going to improve the server by fixing gameframe and stability, even though it's not really my own work 0_o
Although I do have some creative ideas that are pretty easy to implement. I was thinking of a point system rework.

RuneScape Private Servers are dead now with OSRS though.

Disclaimer: Might seem like i'm trying to tare you down, but it might just have you think twice before waisting your time.

Trust me I know what 99% of the servers are, people wanting to make money or expect to get big like near reality, there all the same leeched servers with the same features. I've been around RSPS for years it's always the same. You have the people that know what there doing and don't completely rely on tutorials and leeching to get there servers up, then the people who copy paste tutorials then post "It don't work da hell?". Main point you need something unique to offer in-order to have a successful server.

Also stability is a bitch if you don't know what your doing. (Following some tutorials won't fix it)

I despise RSPS just because the fact that every single god damn source to any RSPS is so shitly coded. Everyone is too fucking lazy to recode it so there is a lot more functionality. It's not even that hard either. In 3 hours of work, I recoded the whole barrows system so it could pretty much be implemented in most other bases with a just a copy and paste of java files + adding some pointers. The fact that everything that is done in RSPS is static pisses the hell out of me. I had it so you can add 1 line of code and it would create any NPC and have it act as a another barrows brother. Now don't even get me started about the use of modifiers and visibility (and also no one fucking synchronizes properly).
