RS randomly freezes?

Most of the time, after playing RS for a couple of minutes, the whole RS screen freezes.

No matter what browser i am on, it happens.

No @ Updating java. I already did that.

No @ it being a virus, i scanned and nothing came up.


any help is needed. :p
 
I don't know what it could be but I do know that RuneScape is being really screwy today.
Servers are offline, the entire game is laggy, and more.
Perhaps it is related to this.
 
Try putting all your settings to the lowest possible, and just because it didn't come up on a virus scan sure as hell doesn't mean theres not a virus :p
 
No error messages, and ill try scanning my pc with a few different things and report back.
 
It happends to me too. But I can open a new window and such but my RS screen becomes black.
 
Try going to the malware removal section to be safe
 
Yeah, i ran another scan with avast, and nothing came up.

Might just be RS.

My bot has been running fine for the past 15 hours lol.
 
Used to happen to me, then i re-formatted
 
It just did it again.

And i don't think my internet would freeze the entire RS screen.
 
Does your internet freeze from other games?
 
Have you tried running another game that uses java?
 
Try clearing your caches in your browser. I had this same problem and it fixed it.
