What do you guys think of the new anti botting measures?

I personally think it's a good idea, but the whole 'new players must purchase membership to remove restricitions' seems a bit rediculous, and will possibly cripple the amount of new players coming into the game.

I think one of the reasons they did this is because that way they would get more f2p subscribing to member. So looks like all the gold farmers are gonna have to purchase membership. Jagex is gonna be receiving alot more money.
 
I think the reason they did this was to raise money for their next bot bust. Just a guess, but I assume they are doing just fine, otherwise bot busting wouldn't be an option as it costs so much

How do you know the financials of JaGex's software updates?
 
Lol Jagex starts to think, they're limiting it to NEW players, meaning old players don't need to worry about it.

Can't believe I just said that...
. Of course they're looking for more profits, they ARE a business after all.
