I mean, it's all that simple. Some people is very immature at the age of 18, where some is very mature.
Just be happy, this means at the age of ~18, you will be doing younger moms which boyfriend left them in the range of ~22-28, which is pretty hooooooooooot. And then they aint all immature (lol, no wonder eh?).
When you grow older, you'll realise how lucky you are, and moved on in the life, instead of being stuck in the childish part. Your friends will be older, since those on your age simply is too immature.

I am 16, will be 17 this summer. When I started playing runescape (10/11 years old), I saw how other older members acted on the forums and it made me want to be like them. Soon before long when I was given Moderator positions, people would ask my age, and being young, I would always tell the ones I thought were cool and who I had talked to before, my real age. But the ones who did not know me, I would tell them I was 16 or 17 years of age to avoid the criticism.
