Ridiculed due to age

Every time someone asks me my age online, I answer the same question countless times with the same answer, '15'. What I get after my answer is also the same, "You're such a liar, you're not 15!"

Every time that I get that reply, I just ignore it and move on. They think that because of my success online I must be some 18+ year old that does this for an income or has went to University, whereas I do this as a hobby. Little do they know is every time I get called a liar for my age, it is a compliment.

Does anyone else ever get ridiculed due to their age or get called a liar or another rude and inappropriate comment?
 
Mm I'm 15 nearlly 16 and many times people wouldn't sell me rsgp because Ima a "preb" but this forum is wayyyy nicer than HF, also out of curiosity, how much money have you made so far ?

For me, it's most likely always more of a compliment that an insult.

Yeah, I get a lot of ad purchase requests. I've got to higher the price for ads since a lot of people are showing interest.

It doesn't matter about the age. Its either mature or not mature..

Ahahha, dude, I'm 17, but some of my friends are surprised. I guess 17 is "old" for being on the internet, most people are used to 15-16 I believe. Although we have much older then that on HF.
 
Not really, I'm 19, so I'm "expected" to be mature I suppose. I do feel quite a bit older sometimes on certain forums, just because it's so blatantly obvious that it's populated with 14-16 year old immature trolls.

However, I don't discriminate, everyone is equal, and I must say, you've done well for your age. Keep up the success, the future can only bring bigger, better things. :thumbsup:
 
People are stupid, I doubt you'll believe I'm 14 and around 5 months until my birthday.
It's the maturity of the others around us that fuck our age range, well immaturity.

Wow, really? When I started I was 9, I said I was 9 and they said "lul, kid". Now I'm 13 and they say "l2getballs, ya mad!" and you're 15 and they tell you you're a nerd?
