Riddle me this

Googling it totally defeats the purpose of the game.

My cousin told me this one, and I disliked him even more after he said it and laughed for ages.

What's a fly called without wings?

A midget.

In Bob's world there is a car but no streets.

What else is in Bob's world?

Bob.

Inb4 google didn't work, you people just google the answer.

We don't google the answer (Well I Don't).
Doesn't make the game fun, besides it's fun trying to solve them.

A fly without wings is called a walk.

Bob is obviously in Bob's world. What else is in his world. No one has gotten it yet.

There are cars but no streets, what else?

Um, this is a hard one.. There must be a gas station just in case the cars run out of fuel lol.

Nope.

There are cars but no streets.
Boats but no water.
Airplanes but no sky.

what else?

Trains but no railway tracks? :tongue2:

You're getting the hang of it. But there is one thing that isn't there but is on earth.

It's not the second one.
An object does not stop when it reaches its maximum height.
It goes up, and it comes down.

Yes, it is the second one. Who said anything about a maximum height?

You said, "What is the easiest way to throw a ball, and have it stop, and completely reverse direction after traveling a short distance?"
The problem with the solution you accepted, is that the ball does not stop.

The ball gets thrown up, maybe goes 1km/h and once it hits 0km/h it has officially stopped. I don't follow your method of how it doesn't stop, it was moving, then it doesn't move.

I hate to be that guy but..
Definition of the word stop: To halt the motion or progress

I'm no expert but it seems like the balls movement is halting to an end and then starting again due to gravity.
