RG Exalted

What is RG Exalted and what do we look to achieve?:[/b]]
We are a group of members that are High Quality Posters and frequent in the Marketplace. We only look to achieve the best for this community.

Requirements[/b]]
You must have 250 Posts+.
You must be RG Elite+.
You must have several vouches or 10+ Reputation Points.
You must be approved by me.
Even if you meet the requirements, that does not guarantee, you will be accepted.

The userbar for Angels & RG Exalted has been bugged to be the same.
So, they have "our" userbar until The Elite fix it.

Please don't bring this stuff to runegear. The high quality groups of stuff is the superficial and false enthusiasm that we don't need. Rather than making a group encouraging high quality posting in the marketplace, make some decent threads and posts yourself and set an example. The groups have no backing force, and usually get nothing done.

I know this is for a good cause, but what's the cause? Groups like this are usually not thought out very well, and have no definite goal or task. When you said what the point in the group was, you said, "We only look to achieve the best for this community." Unless you have a set outline of specific tasks you will be doing, this group isn't really a great idea.

It's fine to make a club or group to acquire friends and have a little task to do, but please, do anything but this task.

But you do know that it is a "Usergroup" setup by The Elite?
I do have specific tasks that we will work on.
We will collaborate on "High Quality Threads" and note that it was created by "RG Exalted".
 
I don't agree regardless of the usergroup. "High quality threads" usually end up as a cheesy-enthusiastic thread that lacks a lot of contractions and modern day vernacular. Do you really want to improve rune gear? Get a group that creates elaborate skill guides with information on how to do the skill, all the things available in the skill, training methods with the skill, money making methods with the skill, and minigames and quests with the skill.

I personally, do not like your posts(in this thread) and eventually they will be deleted.
But it's your opinion on Groups in General and I do respect.
 
I don't think its a bad idea. Sounds pretty good to me. Could have a lot of potential to it, you can't really make assumptions when you haven't even seen it in action.
 
I will leave if runegear gets caught up in the high quality post bull crap. You're a member from HF. I can tell because there are a million groups on HF just like this one. Isn't is sad that I immediately associated you with HF due to the reputation of HF being full of try-hard wanna be staffs? I'm not accusing you of being one, but it's just sad that I immediately knew you were from HF because of this group. We don't want bickering and arguing on RG. There aren't really any issues at ALL on RG right now, so there's no use in making a group that tries to improve quality. Just let the forum do it's work on it's own.

They better not be deleted, he is just speaking his mind, which not many people do.
And I agree with him on some parts, but I hope this new group does a lot for RuneGear and is successful.

And I signed up for HF, just about a week or less ago.
I was not "Original" from there.

I don't think I will get a refund from The Elite but it's all good.
 
Try doing something else with the group instead? Consider making a group about an activity other than runescape that you enjoy? Or maybe you could even make something pertaining to RG, like a "Guide Maker" group that requires 2 or more useful tutorials to join, and your purpose is to create useful and relevant runescape guides.
 
Why quit on this group, it can be used more then just being a HQ group. It can be a group for fun, members who prove themselves around the forum.
This group does not need to focus on being HQ but just a fun group in general.
 
It was pertaining to RG.
You have no idea, what I planned for the group. Which is what lacks in your opinion for the group.

Regardless, I already contacted The Elite & Asked for a Lock to Techno.(Any other staff member can do it as well.)

It was already more then that. But obviously it isn't a good idea.
Saying "High Quality Posts" is what I put until I finished the thread.
As you can see I added a APPLY link with other information under the requirements.

Read my above post. I agree. There's no reason to quit the development of the group, but rather he should use his userbar wisely and create a more useful or better group in general.
 
I think this is a good idea, it brings more HQ posters around the fourm, and keeps HQ posts insted of LQ (maybe like dis one )
