Here is my rant about when rg host revolving around post and threads

Rg was a ghost town like 30 minutes ago now that this contest is going on people have been posting left and right just cause 50m is on the line.

So people only like to post and interact with other people when it only benefits them i find that kind of annoying and sad if you need a incentive to communicate with other users on this thread then whats the point of even signing up

I talk on Rg nearly everyday and every chance i get and if a thread catches my fancy i post on it and follow the updates but with this contest people go around posting simple questions just to get rg points

I know theres users like me that post everyday like me and i come to know them but in 30 minutes ive seen people posting that i never seen post in my life we shouldn't need a contest to talk and make friends

If Rg wants to make a contest by all means go ahead but it shouldn't be based on post or the number of theards

People, like me I admit, are going to post more when things are available, it's the internet, it happens.

As long as all posts aren't 'nice gl' I think it's fine.
 
but people shouldn't need a reason to interact what if rg never had contest it would be the same people posting every time
 
I think it's sad that you need to post JUST because there's a reward in it. Why cant people just post without expecting money.
 
I never ever look at my points when there is a contest,I really dont give a shit.
 
I could care less about 50m. 50m is actually nothing and I could care less if I won 50m or 500m, they both are small numbers which can be accumulated easily if you know how.

I am the same as you, I post on a thread that I think suits me well and something I like to talk about. I don't go around posting on EVERY single thread on RG because that's basically just spamming and I don't like to post in threads that don't fancy me.
 
What you don't understand is, a lot of people have been posting. Just when they see something they want to, as we all have. Now they want to win 50m, so they're working for it. It's the whole point of the contest, to give an activity boost. Can you blame them for wanting to win a lot of money?

As long as people are still HQ it's perfectly fine.

Stop complaining, it'll make RG more active/Get more posts therefore profitable to RG.

people can post HQ without a contest needed but they choose not to cause it doesn't benefit them and it well make RG more active for about 2 weeks
 
Funny thing is I was posting more often before it started, these contests make me not want to post so someone else can get the cash, like, I'm far from poor.
