This has to do with the RFD quest and subquests. After completing the last subquest is when you receive barrows gloves correct? Is that the only time you get a pair of gloves throughout the quest?

Every subquest you complete unlocks a new pair of gloves in the chest underneath Lumbridge Castle. You buy them from there.

The last subquest only gives you dragon gloves

Then you need to face the final boss which you need 175 quest points and need to have completed

-Desert Treasure
-Horror from the deep

In the boss fight you are not allowed to use any prayers.

Ahhhhh the chest underneath the castle. I am going to go buy them. And dragon from the last subquest, and killing the boss for barrows I am assuming? 175 quest points, I am getting there.
