I am considering removing the entire reputation system. We will have to wait and see though.

That would be the best option.
 
I agree it will eliminate most of the issues regarding it and even scamming since most people in here look at only rep. So I think this would be good

That's a flaw with the reputation system. People should be able to express their opinion freely without worry of negative reputation.
