I think the rep system is alright. Whenever I make a posts insulting/giving my opinion in a neg way, I always say stuff like "No hate, just being honest" because i don't wanna get neg repped. It's motivation for me to be friendly.

That's a flaw with the reputation system. People should be able to express their opinion freely without worry of negative reputation.
