They don't do shit. Honestly, you guys think that all bots only get banned for reports, this is 100% false.

Think about it, you got 5 Jagex employees who work on botters all day long, every few seconds new reports come in for macroing, do you think they could keep up?

I'm a pmod, I've been reported numerous times for botting, recently and old, nothing happened. Reports against pmods get handled quickly.

So, how do they catch bots? Jmods appear invisible and go to bot invested areas, stay away from bot infested areas.

FACTS:

Reports have a 2% chance of getting you banned for macro.
Jagex does not have records of extended logins, such as being in the game botting for 90 hours.

Thanks for clearing this up, you're one of my favorite members btw.

Also remember that Jagex has policy that the Jmod has to look ALL throughout the player logs to ensure botting has occurred, this takes awhile because a lot of people bot a lot which creates a lot of player logs.

Also you fags who report botters, remember that when you send reports your username appears as who sent it in, it gets your name out more and you have a better chance at ban.

What are they looking for in the player logs?

If you've botted, everything is in player logs. Click times, quests done, talking, monsters, ect

Cheers for clearing some stuff up i guess.

On a side note, Welcome back from your ban ^_^

Lol. Ahh so I would need to do some quests in between botting sessions?

It wouldn't matter, well kinda it would.

Jagex has two categories when banning a bot.

Banning a player. - Which ofc is a person, who botted but played legit some.
Cheater - Someone who just bots nonstop and has never played legit and never cared.

If you do quests, they will deem you more of a player then a cheater. A cheater is a permanent ban as they don't see you changing. I recommend you do quests after you finish botting or even in between sessions.

They think that once they 14 day ban a player they will change, a cheater will never change so they permanently ban them.

Good good. What else should I do in-between botting sessions to prevent from another ban?

Helping others wouldn't be a bad idea. Does the account your botting on already have a macro minor infraction? Sometimes, but rarely jagex will give a 3rd chance, by just giving you another minor macro infraction instead of major macro.

I have one macro minor, yes, and I don't want another. I am botting dung, but I think I should take breaks, quest, help others etc.

thanks for the info!
