Why do members on here care so much about their rep? It's the stupidest shit I've ever seen. Rep means nothing, and never will if members continuously just give rep to random members, expecting rep back.

Here's an example of what I'm talking about.

@"Forum" repped I don't even know how many members, saying the exact same thing.





The thing is, look how many of those people repped him right back.

I don't mean to put you on blast, @"Forum", just using you as an example. I see you're new, so I'd just like to suggest to you that you don't rep4rep. It really is low quality. You will learn how little rep on here means soon enough.
 
Yeah, Rep4Rep is pretty skiddy. Rep is just a number. It is also supposed to be used to see how much we can trust a member, not a big green number that sits there on the postbit and says, "Hey, you should make me bigger, I'm synced with this user's e-penis."

it is earned by posts and thanks possibly

but it would be a better idea since vouches should show trust not rep
 
I did not even rep4rep. Nowhere in my rep comment did I say or expect rep back, if I see that you are a cool forum user and have good post, I rep you, and the reason I put the same thing is because I'm not bias. Please don't jump to conclusions so fast there bud @kirby thanks for the neg 15 though
 

It's obvious you were trying to get rep back. You repped all of those members today, including me, and I have no idea who you are. I don't even post much.

I felt kind of bad about making this thread, since you are a new member, and honestly, I was debating junking it for that reason. If you would have posted literally almost anything else, I would have junked it.
 

I agree with everything that you said.

He did the same thing to me and I also have no idea who he is and haven't posted very much.

There should be a limit to the amount of reps you can give out in one day to help prevent something like this.
 
Yeah he repped me saying the same exact thing as the picture in OP. So I'm going to say he was hoping for rep4rep back since I hardly post anymore.
 
@kirby it's fine dude, you are expressing your option, and there is nothing wrong with that. I'm just saying I don't ask for rep back or rep4rep, I saw a few of your post and decided to use my rep option to rep you, not expecting anything in return. I'm sorry if you though I was sarcastic in my last post but I'm telling the truth. Every person I rep I saw post from and were nice to other users, if it's making a good deal, giveaways, being kind in a post to another user, even saying thank you, I rep because it's my silent thank you to those users that are on the forums, I don't expect anything in return,That's really all I have to say.

I think it's pretty obvious you were just looking for rep back, and so does everyone else who commented on this thread.
 
Not really like it matters but he's already about to have more rep than me, I'm not insulting him or anything i think he's pretty cool, its just that he should just take it slower, and gain trust and reputation as he spends more and more time on the site.

I just removed my +rep ratting from everyone on this thread that thinks I did this for rep4rep, if anyone else thinks I did this for that reason and would like my +rep I have you "for no reason" then please pm me. Once again never had any intention of getting rep back never asked for it once, and gave people that I +rep the same comment because my reps are my bias to an active kind forum member.
 
Rep4Rep is the best thing in the world, you can join very early, get Power, and rep everyone and get rep back, appear trusted, and scam for a $10 kik!
 

Surely if you repped this many upgraded members, you must have repped some non upgraded members as well, right?

If you can screenshot some ratings you gave to non upgraded members, as long as the rep was given before I made this thread, I'll junk this thread, and apologize. They also need to have the same reason as you gave to all the upgraded members. Something tells me this won't happen.
 
Insane! Without rep4rep, we wouldn't have some of the greats of FK! Take Jason Jr, for example, started from the bottom and was at the top for like 3 weeks! Ask @trilogy he knows!
Really though, I've learned to just leave it alone. It won't stop anyone from doing it.
 
Yup, he did the exact same thing to me, I found it odd because I have never talked to him.
 

I've always left it alone as well. I almost never rep anyone, positive or negative. In fact, @"Forum" is the first person I've given negative rep. I hate the whole reputation system in general. Just felt like posting this, because it was so obvious that it was rep4rep.
 
Agreed. I hardly rep anyone, unless I think they're worthy of it.
