Why was the report rep button removed? I thought it was very useful.

There use to be a button on the rep someone gave you which have you the option the report the rep

I've never seen such. I'll look into it.
 
People usually just complain about it or PM a staff member to remove whatever they want to be removed.

Not sure though.
 
I'd like to see this reimplemented. I thought it was a useful feature. Good catch @poop
 
I also miss this option. Would be much easier rather than getting constant PMs about it.
 
It was alright. It didn't make that big of a deal unless it was dealing with banned users' reps. The people that weren't fond of you and executed the reps to you would just re-implement the reps when they were removed.
 
I always thought it would make more sense to have one Staff team member to handle reputation reports. Each Staff member may interpret reputation abuse differently, and all a user has to do is message a Staff team member until one of them removes it. I would say it would be best off if the right user or team member was appointed to throughly regulate reputation abuse. Reputation abuse regulation would be much more thorough and responsive. There's six Staff team members, I know for sure four of them are capable of handling such a task. Sorry if this qualifies as off-topic. I thought it blended with the original topic.
 

I remember someone suggesting that awhile ago. I completely agree with it too. They need to re-implement the report rep button, and get a staff that only handles rep abuse.
 
#PoopShouldManageReputationPoints? lol. I think this idea/tool needs to be implemented back in.

Doesn't really matter to me, but I wouldn't mind having it back. It'd definitely slow down the bitching about rep threads. As Jason said, it needs to be moderated differently than it was before though. People used to be able to report and it was always deleted no matter what.
