Removed the ShoutBox - Archived by George

Hello,

This webhosting couldn't cope with the site, we had ShoutBox installed and which was using a lot of CPU, maxing out my hosting account. As a result I've had to disable it. It's a shame, but it's not the end of the world, they weren't essentials. Hopefully we'll be getting an IRC channel soon.

We hope to get a VPS within the next few months, I'm waiting for a few payments to clear and then we should be able to afford a VPS, when we do, I'll re-add the shoutbox.

We are currently going to be transferring to a VPS within the next few days.
The shoutbox may return then or IRC may be in it's place.

I think we should use this plugin: http://mods.mybb.com/view/ezirc

It allows you to place the IRC module on a page of your choice, that would be quite helpful. I'll speak to Mister Snazzy (Creator of the channel) and see what he says.

The shoutbox was quite fun while it lasted hope we get something else like an IRC =).
