Religious curriculum

Jonathan, Miss Hannah Minx, Method. You guys are all idiots. This thread is not another religious theory debate. The question was clear in the OP. I also made it clear that trying to prove or disprove God's existence would not be tolerated as a means of reasoning. If you three can't follow regulations for a debate, don't debate to begin with.

To be frank, I didn't expect this from you Miss Hannah Minx.

Religious debate? HAH, this is historical you moron. You didn't mention ANYTHING about history.

All I am concluding is that Jesus is a historical person. Not once did I say ANYTHING about God. So, quit jumping onto assumptions when you didn't even let me finish yet, asshole.

Historical? I made the topic, I think I know what it deals with. All three of you are here trying to prove/disprove God's existence when I specifically stated in my OP that I didn't want any of that.

Point out where I was trying to prove God's existence. Not Jesus'.

Please.

Earlier you were talking with Jonathan;

If you tell someone that you can give them physical proof, it means you're trying to prove it's existence. Whether its about God or Jesus, my OP made it clear that I don't want any of that.

All I wanted to know was whether you think it should or shouldn't be taught in schools. And if you needed to back your answer up with reasoning, you could have done so without using claims about whether God/Jesus is real or not.

Now, you're changing the whole thing of what you said. Nice.

All I said was physical proof, which I haven't explained fully yet, because he didn't reply back. But, you didn't give me a chance to even captivate my side of it. Instead you insisted it was JUST religious without letting it go on, and now that you know all I've been trying to do was prove the historical aspect of Jesus Christ, or rather Jesus of Nazareth.

It should not be taught within school for the simple reason that people should be allowed to believe what they want to believe.

I made it clear in my OP that I didn't want any forms or reasoning for this debate to deal with that.

It's no-where near what I was stating though. If you'd at-least stop, and let me finish one my topic, you'd realize what my whole intention was on that post.

What were you trying to say then?

When Jonathan said.

There's no proof of God/Jesus

That's when I wanted to take point of the historical perspective of Jesus, without using the Bible, or anything else. So, I decided to try and show him the Shroud of Turin, which is physical proof of Jesus' cloth during burial. I was in no way trying to put God in this, I would have, but I read your OP. So, calm down.

And that's why they invented something called a catholic school (or other religious titles)

No way, the mild of a child is easily brainwashed by anything. Even something as pathetic as a 'god'. I'm not bashing religious people, more power too you. I WISH I had faith. But I don't.

Should be illegal, if they want to learn religion, go to a religion school.

It should be illegal, your teaching people beliefs, meaning that what you are teaching them is strictly a belief and nothing else.

Where I am it's compulsory to learn about religions, it's not like they tell you to believe in a certain religion but they teach you about their way of life and how they do things.
This is only where I am I have no idea how it is taught anywhere else.
