Relate names to faces

I have faced this problem frequently. You have seen that person somewhere, but you just cannot recollect the name. Have you felt that? Isn't it so embarrassing? What do you do in such a case?
 
Same here, It happens to me mostly with Celebrities.
I've seen their name and face somewhere but when I see the face again, I can't remember the name.

I try to remember but I just give up, when I can't.
 
Uttering it loud makes you remember it for longer durations of time? I guess you could just associate their names to their facial features. maybe it could work better.
 
Same here the only name I sometimes remeber in the corvenstion is my one xD
 
I remember fast and i don't have problem with this. But on most forums i can remember who is who. Like i switched George and Noreturn here one time. And on some other forums same mistakes.
 
Yeah,i've experienced it many times!and its verry embarassing..what i do is,i just say hi and how are you,after that i make some excuses for example:i have to go now,my parents are waiting for me.hahaha
 
yeah, really it's embarrassing. well, for me I'll just smile to that person, and refuse to talk to her/him, for I'm ashamed to get caught that i forgot his/her name...lol..
 
well it doesn't happen much with me means when i was new in the college i spent 4 or 5 days with the new friends and i remembered their names perfectly ;) I think it depends on practice of a person. If we recall people names in our mind and think of them time by time maybe it can help you people. Or if you spend much time with them you will remember their names automatically, no hard work to be done lol
 
I think you have problems with your memory. I suggest you take more iron :) I sometimes experience that too.

very true its so hard to remember few celebrities names if we dont read many news bout them very often their face might stick in our mind as a recognized face but very difficult to remember their name
 
Mine was crazy, for a moment I forgot my mother's name, and I was a bit young that time and I was on the verge of crying lol 'cause I was trying to remember and I can't.
