Region Change for Xbox Live

Hi member's.
After a long dispute yesterday about region change for Xbox Live, I just wanted to update you all if you region change after doing a deal with a Gamertag.

The argument was that you can "Change it when you like" via Xbox.com, but I know you can only change it every three months. I posted proof also.

So be careful guy's, and do not follow people's advice until you know for real.

Just needed to prove this @Rosen for peace of mind, were cool now though

It is every 3 months. it happened to a tag of mine also.
 
That's why I generally have one set to US and one to JP. That way you get the 2 best marketplaces. I might start keeping a Chinese one too, as they've had a LOT of stuff glitch and become free on the marketplace lol. Besides, none of the online game servers are dictated through your console's region, anyways. Your network info determines that.
 

The guy who he sold the gamertag to probably just wants to redeem a code or something.
 
It's been 3 months for a long ass time. Everyone bloody knows that, if you didn't you know nothing about tags.

Exactly, but no-one backed me up when that scammer report was out. This is why I was so pissed and held that Aim hostage

It was a right stand off lol.
 
This happened to me once it sucks it was jacked and changed the region to christmas island so i couldnt do shit.

A big thank you to the staff that helped me through that horrible ordeal, I felt looked after and I do admit, he nearly got the edge over me, felt a little vulnerable.
