So Sunday night I felt a store throat coming in. So as usual, I took a shot of vodka thinking the 40% alcohol would kill off the bacteria (usually works for sore throat, but not strep)
I woke up Monday morning 1 hour earlier than I should've (5:30 instead of 6:30) thinking it was time for school. So I take my morning piss. And as soon as I start walking back to my bedroom, I start blacking out and I throw up in my sink. I check the time, and I go back to sleep.
I wake up at 6:30 feeling a ton better but throat sore as fuck. I get ready for school, and on my way, I eat 1 bag of chips and a gatorade then pop an adderall. I skip lunch (because of the adderall) and as soon as I leave the school building at the end of the day, I become instantly nauseated. When I get home I begin throwing up. Then I take some advil and go to sleep.
Tuesday, I wake up with the deadliest sore throat and I see white spots on my tonsils and I tell my parents I definitely have strep. And sure enough, I was tested positive. I got prescribed 875mg of Amoxicillin. Take my first pill, and within 12 hours I start feeling better. Then later Tuesday night, I wake up every 20 minutes thinking I've been asleep for 2 hours each time I awoke. My night felt like a whole day.
On Wednesday (today) I awake around 10am. I take my 2nd Amoxicillin, 2 advil, and some nyquil. At this point I'm all drugged up and I can still feel the soreness in my throat but definitely 75% more tolerable now. Then again at 10pm (45 mins ago) I took my 3rd amoxicillin. My throat is still sore right now, but I can actually swallow my spit now without having to spit it out. I haven't really had much of a fever all day, and I haven't been deadly tired. So, I should be feeling a ton better by Friday. And completely sore free by Saturday. Though I have to take my medication for 10 full days to ensure the virus doesn't come back.
