Recorders, YouTube getting out there..

I'm 1 in a million people who play CoD, and was wondering if anyone on here records. I want to buy a recording device one day but not sure which one will have good quality but I won't have to fork out $300 for one.. Any recommendations?

Also was wondering if anyone here is (hate to say this) 'known' and willing to give some advice on how to expand your viewers/popularity?

This can apply to anyone else here too.. just want to know other peoples tips, tricks and opinions.

Get an elgato, It's the best of the best. If you can't afford that get a HD PVR, them two are best for gaming

I'm not all too known, but I do know how to market really well. I just need to stop being a lazy shit, and get active again. PM me for some more information. I cannot get into details until this weekend, because my class load this week is horrendous.

I used to have a Hauppage, but the team I play for gave a few of the guys (including myself) an Elgato, and it's really nice. I don't really know what to tell you about popularity other than gaining yourself attention.
