gaming: razer kraken are the best gaming headset i've ever used
 
beats studio i have the white pair download beats music shits so fire my dude easily best sound quality headphones ive ever had!
 
I have the urbeats by dr dre, they work really well, and aren't too expensive.
 
Beats break to easily I once bought a pair and a week after I had bought the speaker inside the headphone busted ...

Second this. I have a pair and came specifically to this thread to recommend them. These headphone are the best in Bass Response, Stereospread, and Sound. The fit is superb. There's a soft leather cuff around each earphone and  it feels like you've just placed a cloud on your head. Seriously, you may be scared of the price at first, but think about it this way: You'll never want to buy another pair of headphones again.
 
I bought a "Marshall's Major" last Christmas ... I must say, the sound quality is on par with beats and there about the same price wise. I'd highly roccomend them to anyone who doesn't like Beats.
 
I came to this thread to recommend audio Technica and am clearly late. OP, if you get beats you are sadly mistaken. Take this from someone that has had 3 pairs.
 
I agree with @"fear". Klipsch, Sennheiser, HiFiMan, Audeze, Bowers & Wilkins, I could go on and on and on. But those are some brands I have personally owned or used and they are by far better than all this bullshit that has been listed so far.

Best budgetwise would be Klipsch and comes with all the quality. But if you have a big budget then look into the others.
