Obviously someone has been attacking the server for the past couple days, I have since installed alot more security. From now on if someone attacks the ips attacking will be automatically blocked. Which will ring the forum back online. I also updated Apache, as well as installing a few mods.

All in all attacks won't last long on fk, and will be much more of a burdone to attackers considering they have to change their ip or their booters ip each time they want to hit the site.

I also am going to be upgrading the ram on the server another 2 gigs. Hopefully that speeds things up, considering although the site is up its still running slowly because of the attacks.
 
Glad to see you post a thread, I have and I'm sure alot of other people have been waiting..

Any way you can check the ips to see if it is a member hitting the site?
 
Thanks Philly your doing a great job. It was sad to see the site down for so long but it's great that your taking initiative to these assholes who hit the site.

Yay! It's about time the forum upgraded its security. The DDOS attacks recently have been unbearable. >_<
 
Good, I'm just sick of seeing all of the sites I go on being booted by a 13 year old who thinks he has all the power in the world.
