Re-Intro: Haro RG

Figured I might as well do this & say hello to my new found buds & give out a couple of messages to my older ones.

Any ways, I'm here from the RR merge as you might have guessed.

I seen that some of the members from RR have been a bit hasty so far since finding themselves redirected here. It's an expected reaction and I hope you RG guys can cut them a bit of slack while they adjust, nobody likes being blind sighted.

RR guys, depsite being a Moderator I knew nothing of this, I left my computer some 16 hours ago with RR fully intact, came back couple minutes ago to the same thing as the rest of you, so you know as much as I, unfortunately.

I'll probably stick around for a bit, see how it goes. I'm not much of a forum guy, I'm only active on 2, 1 being my RS clan forum and the other was RR. I'm yet to decide if I'll fill that void with RG.

Right off the bat theres a few things I don't like about here, these can be improved & are opinionated based, so I'm not taking swings.

• Firstly the theme and designs. There's too much on every page, everything seems out of place, I'm a fan of clean cut forums. The quotes and spoiler design on RR were pretty nice, here it looks like lack of effort.
• Secondly, stuff like Hack of the Month. I dislike people who glorify stealing stuff on RS and try to show off. Every thread I've made of "My spoils" have all had stories to them that I think are worth telling. I don't share pics just to show-off I got something. (Also the prize is a bit dumb? 5M isn't anything compared to what the winning hack will be around? Should just be an award imo.)

Again that's all my opinion.

I don't take gaming too seriously, I like to have fun with them, as that's their intended purpose. I do feel like the RS community have become to troll-y and everyone is out to flame each other.

I hope this forum can be a place for the people who haven't let the frustration that RS can bring these days poison their personalities.

Welcome to RG, I appreciate you taking some time with your introduction and I'd like to speak to a few parts of it.

Of course! The Elite (admin here) may be under some stress, though, from the negative reactions. I'd like to just let you know that your prior admin wouldn't have sold his site to The Elite if he didn't feel him to be competent. The Elite loves his forum and cares about his member and it was more of a "I would be happy to take care of your members because you no longer can" situation then "ooo yes, moar members for me." Believe me, friend, he bought RR because he wanted to give you all a place to go.

I agree with you. We do have a suggestions section if you'd like to help us figure out an alternative. Myself and Mike (an admin here) will likely be taking over the events team and I completely agree that the concept is a little silly, as well as the 5M award. I was just thinking the other day that such events should just result in an award.

I do hope that you can find us to be a fair alternative to RR. Welcome,
