Rated R movies?

I've looked it up, posted on Facebook, talked with people at work and have been getting mixed answers. I'm just curious as to whether or not you're able to watch a rated r movie if you're 17?

Lol, just walk in and if they ask for ID give it to them. I'm pretty sure they won't card you if you look old enough. Also I believe it is 17.

Google is a wonderful and magical tool that has the answers to just about any question that you have.
 
Your able to watch it when ur of any age as long as ur guardian is with u i believe.
 
Or you can just sneak into the movie, Like I did at 22 Jump Street, just leave last though, don't want to look like a little kid among college students and adults.
