Rate My Thread Design

I just made this by myself and I think it looks pretty decent. I just wanted some opinions. This is my first thread design and really anything serious in Photoshop, deep criticism is appreciated so I can improve as a better artist.

I'm not the creator of the method. If you want the method, private message @"Flippy", a thread of his should be up shortly.

Looks nice man, for your first thread design I'd say you're definitely on the right path.

Here is my first thread design that he is comparing it to.

it's not the best but it's pretty good for a first so about six out of ten

it hurt my eyes to be completely honest

Improvements:
- Color scheme, look ones up on google and base it on it!
- Font, it's horrible, the style you are using aswell.
- Boxes, color is horrible.

For a first time project it's good, but there are a lot of areas for improvement.

For one, the font you have used is ugly, and while you've used it to emulate the Clash of Clans thread design, it still looks bad. Change it to something more clean and professional. I'd recommend a sans serif font, such as League Gothic or Helvetica. It doesn't really matter, as long as you use anything but that horrible font. Also, remove the bevel you've used on it. It looks tacky and nasty af, use a nice gradient effect or something.

Secondly, boxes shouldn't be flat colours, I'd suggest using a gradient to provide a more professional looking result. Also, don't use those colours. They look disgusting on the Internet and don't compliment either the Dark or Light theme. Try using blacks, greys, whites, reds and blues. Anything but that colour lmao.

However, for a first time attempt, as I've said before, it's not bad.

You need to get rid of that font.
