Rare or Stats? What would you rather have?

I am stuck on a decision.
Should I buy rares?(Multiple Phats).

Or should I train my stats up to 99.

Although, this may sound crazy. I don't want a mixture. One or Another.
What would you rather have?
 
Skills, what would you rather do, have the skills required to go around doing whatever you want on runescape. Or sitting at grand exchange with a hat.
 
They both can make me $.
But, the skills will make me more $.

Lending out the party hat wont be much.
I am probably gonna invest this into skills.

And when I make cash back from staking, pking, etc. I will buy a party hat.
 
I would go with rares, 99s are overrated
 
Get 99 construction, 99 herblore, 99 runecrafting, 99 smithing, 99 prayer, 99 mage. Stats over phats. Get maxed combat as fast as you can, because you can just box, or even rapier box if you get a chaotic rapier and make enough money to buy a phat.
 
boxing is in no way guarenteed to make you money
 
All you need to do is

Get 99 herb - 2 days
Get 99 prayer - Few days
Get 99 Constuction < - 1day

Then go buy your self a phat
 
Buy some rares; they do a lot for willpower. When you get some the stats come easy.
 
if you have multiple phats then that means at least 2b. id say get the high costing 99s and then see what you want to do

When you get hacked Every thing is taken away sooo...
 
Rares, unless it's a skill you need, as in like 95 prayer for turmoil.
