Ive used to have a 250gb slim xbox and it had a removable hard drive well today ive just unboxed my 4gb xbox slim and their is no hard drive inside of it, is their meant to be one? :S​

So i have a console banned xbox with an 250 GB removable hard-drive is it possible i can put it in the 4GB?
 
no pretty sure the 4gb one cant have memory put in

yes if the 250gb is slim just remove the HDD and put it in in the 4gb slim, but if it is a fat xbox you gotta take apart the hard drive to get just the HDD out of the case.

Yea dude it fits fine just gotta do an update is their anyway i can check is it in console setting memory and should it tell me i have 254gb of storage?
 
yeah i got ran by xbox last night lsot my tag and my console, 'for unauthorized gamertag recovery' funny shit is i have only had 1 gamertag on my console ever. And that gamertag is most definately not stolen since I created it myself

I have the 4 gb slim as well, there is a slot for a external harddrive on the bottom i believe, i cant remember where i put my hd at when i got it =/
 
The 4gb hard-drive is built in. So the space where a normal hard-drive would be is empty.
 
Slims harddrives are inside the console, there is no external memory placement I'm pretty sure except for memory cards.
 
Insert the 250gb HDD into the external plugin.
