Ok, so my computer is a piece of shit, I want to play this one game but it lags like hell, should I upgrade the ram or the graphics card of the computer. Thanks for any help in advance.

EDIT: post # 737, its a plane and a palindrome! yay, looking forward to 750!

What's the game you want to play first?

(By the way, please put nehkz instead of nehks in your signature, thanks.)

Maybe you should upgrade both.
Is it an old or new game? If it's a new one, upgrade the graphics card, most of newer games demand a good graphics card.

If you lag because of your graphics, then upgrade your graphics card.. In a gaming the computer the most important thing is your gfx card.

What game is it, what graphics card and how much ram do you have?

Ok well troll time for u guys, have a blast and laugh at my shitty ass comp, (got it for free tho )

Game: combat arms... I know, lol
Graphics Card: ATI Mobility Radeon X300, lol
RAM: 2 slots 1rst slot: 1gb, 2nd: 256mb (lolol rlly bad) Max ram is 1gb per slot I believe for this comp.

If you need to know any other info. plz feel free to let me know, thanks for the help guys.

Best solution, buy a new one.

I saw this coming before I even posted this thread, well yea. Definitely the best choice for me unfortunately, only thing is I have absolutely no money, I'm 15, no job, and cant get one either... so yea.

You honestly can't upgrade anything. You will probably need a new PSU and your RAM/CPU is probably going to bottleneck your GPU.

Don't suggest Dell, Dell desktop are mostly fitted with OEM hardware.

Ram defo. The graphics card wont do anything...

Lol, please don't give advice. You obviously don't know what your talking about.

I wasn't suggesting the brand, I was merely giving examples of what kind of desktop he can get for cheap.
And dell or not, if he got that for under $400 I wouldn't be against it.
