Does buying a game on the Xbox One, allow me to have it for the 360?

For example if I bought Destiny for the Xbox One, would I be able to download it on my 360 as well, without having to pay another $60 ?

Certain games allow for this. If you bought Destiny on 360 you get it free on the One if you participated in some special deal, same instance for Advanced Warfare. However, I don't think it works backwards like you are asking.

I bought Destiny for the 360, and got it for the One for free. Do you happen to know if I were to buy Co AW now on the 360, would I be able to get it on the One as well? Or vice versa?

Yes. There was an info video about this. They'll be allowing free upgrades.

yea @color was correct. However DLC will not carry over unless you have the season pass I believe
