I believe this is possible with a certain type of AIM.
Like I'm pretty sure the newer versions you can't have a .gif avatar.

There is no way to do this, the only ones that can be gif are the ones off the site below (AOL ones, not custom ones).

That's not true. Add the aims: YMCA and Magikarp to see what I mean. It is possible, I just need to know how, because not many people know.

Kirby try this? as moving avatars are animated gifs. Yahoo technically does not allow them to be used directly. They may even ban them in the future. You must create one as your avatar on Twitter. You then go to Pulse and link it to Twitter. It is then available as an avatar choice. Hope this works
