[Question] RAT slaves connectivity

Hi all I need a quick question answered about my new RAT.

Since my RAT's port is only open to connections when my RAT client is running, if people run my server while my client is not open/computer turned off will they keep trying to connect to my server/port until I turn the client on? Or will it just fail?

I have port-forwarded correctly, running a DNS (No-IP). Everythings good but i'm just wondering if the slaves will constantly try and connect to me until the port is finally open for them.

(The server is set to run on system startup and locates itself within Sys32)

I hope I have made this clear to you and any answers would be wonderful.

This would depend on that RAT genius. You are probably using a public RAT like cybergate or something and if your client is closed or pc is off or w/e it will connect but you wont be reading it with the client. You're fine most likely.

Most RAT clients come with an ingenious little thing called persistence.. which means that the server will be aggressive with TCP/UDP packets from their own bandwidth until either a connection is established through your designated port on your computer or the virus is found :]
