question about v1 gamertags

Hello. I just have a question about v1 gamertags. I've heard that they are reset after 7 years of inactivity and that people check the halo 2 leaderboards to see when they were last active? I understand that some people didnt play halo 2 therefore, its an approximation.

when can you take a "deleted" gamertags which you cannot change your gamertag too or make an account with. I heard it after 3 years? please help.

does anyone know when v1 gamertags are reset? is there a way to tell because I have two three letter spaced tags. is there a way to tell using halo 2 leaderboards or another way?

Nope nobody even has a valid method to jack GT's anymore and I have never heard of him.
