Question about 3 letters

So I heard that every 3 letter gamertag is taken. Do any of you know if that is true? I do know that mostly all of them are taken but I see everyone selling 3 letters on fresh silver accounts. So are they all taken or what?

Someone told me they ran a program and checked..
He said they were all gone
 
They come around every now and then from Microsoft resets or people swapping their tags and not picking them up again.

I hope not cause I found a way to get every three letter combination and I checked them to see if they were taken and a lot weren't. But the thing is that the gt checker shows ones that are banned and say they aren't taken. So I don't want to manually check them all on Xbox.com.

Okay cool. Do you know how long it takes for them to reset?
 


It's impossible to know. I just run my checker every week or so and pick up everything available. That's how I got MX8 awhile ago, been passed around a lot recently I see.

I doubt I'd just give it away, as it's a private program. The main reason though is because it was tailored for easy access by myself so I only have to enter emails and it automatically logs in with it's built in password so I don't need to ever enter it. Giving this away would require me to tell people that password, so I'd only give it away if it was worth my while.
