PSN Account Help

So I went ahead and took a look around some PSN's in hope of finding an original PSN. So I went to some dudes trophies and deleted his ID in the url and started to type in some random ID's. Then this came up. http://gyazo.com/11293e1e335601aca456fc42c450856f

Does this mean that ID is available? It's a pretty dope original or semi ID. If it's taken or whatever, is there anyway I can check if ID's are taken, or do I have to sign up?

Yea I've came across that as well, like Cut is available but I can't claim it.

Thanks for the response finally lmao. So I guess it works like Xbox. I tried Barcode and that came up.
