I am thinking about making some tutorials on how to program with c++.

Would anyone be interested in this?

Just want to know if people would actually like this or not. If nobody wants this, then there is no point in me wasting time on it. =p

I might be interested, but it depends if you start very slowly. If i were to learn anything from it, it would have to teach basically the absolute basics. I'm taking a college beginner class for VB coding, first year, and i don't know that much. We're going through some loop statements atm, along with a few other simpler things. :/

You should hold organised tinychat sessions :)

Alright I will do it when I find the time for it. Might not be able to until after this weekend.

I will start with the very basics and will assume that we are starting with no knowledge of programming. :)

You should tell us what we need to download/install first, since everyone has different download rates and you don't want to spend your first lesson downloading files.

I use Microsoft Visual.

I'll get the download link when I get home. But either compiler will work.

Also, Death, if you wanna do dual lessons, lemme know. I'd love to help.

Maybe, we will just go with the flow of things. Like if I am busy one day you could do a tutorial. Maybe a new one each week or twice a week? Either way, I appreciate the offer and your willingness to help out. :)

Sounds good to me :D

I will see about starting the tutorial this week. Will create a new thread in the programming section for it.

You should make one thread for them all and sticky it.

why have you not stickied your guide thread yet..?

its been proven that its an awesome guide i dont see why it shouldnt be a sticky

Good idea. That means I really need to make sure that I make this tutorial as good as possible. Don't want to sticky something that isn't very good. =p

I am not sure....I will look into it. I don't want to be an "asshole" and do things that aren't necessary to "benefit" me.

Is there anything you can't do!!?
