So ya im pretty much younger than most of the users here and I wanted to learn how 2 program so I decided that I should go 2 a camp so I sign up for one and my first day was 2day and it sucked.

I go there and we build a robot out of legos for half the day, and then the other half we give it comands on AN ALREADY MADE PROGRAM on the computer and they call that ''programming the robot'' which is BS and Im pissed bc I wanted 2 learn something but I still have rest of the week and Im supposedly learning about how 2 design a game tomorrow which will probably be my project for the week.

Anyways if I learn nothing about programming Im gonna try to teach myself even though its fucking hard for me to understand.

Do you guys have any suggestions of languages to start with?

This is the right section I think because it doesnt really belong in computing if it does just move it my bad.

EDIT: Heard ur suggestions and this is how im gonna be learning shit

Python > Java> C# > C++>

C++

i forgot fk auto embeds youtube, so i put a space so you can get a whole playlist instead of 1 video.

This nigga translates confusing nerd shit to english so it's ez to understand.

P.s. ur camp sounds gay

That camp seems like a waste of time, sounds like they just want to trick you and make yourself feel like you're doing shit lmao. Did you have to pay to go, if so thats a rip off.

naah my mom paid for me 2 go she said it would be a good thing 4 me 2 learn.

Camp sounds stupid AF.
Don't learn C++ first, you'll quit in days.
Start with .NET, then go to C# (if you want to learn C++) and then C++.
Learning .NET is very easy, transitioning to C# is easier, and then transitioning to C++ isn't too hard. Same concepts, different syntax (the way the code is written)

.Net is included in C#, I'd start with Java or C# you can get a feel for Syntax.

Learn JavaScript first. It's easy and leads into other scripts

You should "Apply" for my group on fk. And post your times at camp:) It would be really interesting.
