Probably Moving.... states.

Let me first say sorry for my inactivity. FK has been down for me for about a week now.

Lets get into the topic. Well my parents told me that we will most likely move to Sarasota, Florida, close to the end of my junior year of high school. Right now i'm in my sophomore year and I don't know how to feel about this. It's a complete fresh start. My whole family lives here in Iowa and I've grown into loving this place, but I mean.. The weather can suck lol. The only things I'm afraid of are,

1. Floods / Hurricanes
2. Making new friends
3. Moving to a bad neighborhood
4. Not keeping in touch with family as much as I am used to

but yeah. Anyone live near there? :x

Sarasota is a nice place to live. I remember staying at a hotel there and going to the beach near-by.
Don't be too worried about floods or hurricanes. I was in Orlando, FL when hurricane Katrina happened. Little to no damage was done to my home.
As for making friends, this is always a problem when moving cities, states, etc. It's easy to make friends, it just depends on how willing you are to put effort into that.
Florida is a great place to live IMO. I used to live in Orlando for about 7 years (moving back there this year) and I don't have too much to complain about. Hope you find your place in Sarasota.

I have family that live in Sarasota. I like it there, when I visit.
