What do you guys feel about this.
I myself am Pro Choice. I think women should be able to choose if they want an abortion or not.
Reasons:
-What if a young girl gets raped?
-How do you think the child will be treated if the parent didn't want them?
-It's not our body, why should we choose what a woman wants for them?

Just wondering about your guys opinions.

Choice all the way dude. I don't want a Meg, lol.

What I think is really low and stupid though, is aborting a child just because they have downs or another life altering disease. That is just plain out wrong.

At the end of the day, I think it should be up the person.

It appalls me to the point where my blood boils that people on this forum support stopping the heart of an innocent child that has done nothing than try to make it into the world. Fucking heartless.

I can see where your coming from and I really don't like the idea of it either. Like the OP pointed out, what if a young girl was raped? It could ruin her entire life having to go through with it.

If there is one thing that I have learned through abortions, life is precious in any form. NO matter how small or little, planned or not, it has a right as a creature to survive, and thrive in this world that we live in. Adoption would be a perfect solution.

I think it should be up to the rapist.

I believe this is what should probably be done.

However, you can't physically force a girl to go through child birth and endure all the pain. If she's willing to go through with it then the child should be adopted.

I am not for abortion, nor is anyone else here. I'm for choice. Who are you to choose that for a woman? If the parents want an abortion, it is their choice. If they don't want the kid, then it is likely that the child will be abused or have a hard life. Also, if you say they can put them up for adoption, that's bullshit. It's hard on the kids, and why does everyone say they are pro life yet when it comes to adoption, so many kids are being neglected, and many aren't adopted.

It hurts more to be kicked in the balls than it does to have a child. It's a proven fact. And the mental pain from killing a child that you will never meet will be more painful than having a baby. I know this for a fact.

Tbh, some people wouldn't feel the same love for their child knowing they had been raped. I don't agree with this, but its true.

It's not a proven fact. This is a theory, and its a fact that it is not possible to know that for sure. Tell me how its a proven fact.

I'd like to know that too.

Also not going to go into too much detail but they are different types of pains I'd imagine.

Exactly. No man can say or determine what it feels like. And I would bet a lot of money it hurts more than being kicked in the balls.

I can tell you through PM's. Not saying it in a forum thread.

Then PM me it. I would love to see how its a fact.

Being kicked in the balls hurts like HELL.

So does getting rejected.

Pro-Life, and not even for religious reasons.

  • ~80% of the time the women are forced into it by their family, BF, etc so they don't even make the choice
  • And, it was her choice was to have unprotected sex (unless rape I guess)
  • It's scientifically proven that it is a separate, unique human being, therefore the "It's my body" arguement is invalid
  • Fetuses can feel pain at 20 weeks, even earlier. It's inhumane. Have you seen the pictures? Bodies being ripped apart?
  • PETA would uproar about aborting dogs but doesn't give a damn about humans? Hypocrisy 101
  • Adoption for kids you can't afford.
  • Rape victims have many places they can go to for support, financial assistance, and adoption help
  • Can't think of any more but I'm sure there are some.

All that from a non-religious standpoint.
